In the best new play category, nominees include “Giant,” led by John Lithgow, “Liberation,” a 1970s Ohio women’s group drama, “The Balusters,” a comedic take on neighborhood chaos, and “Little Bear Ridge Road,” a story of a writer returning to his hometown.

Additionally, notable nominations include Daniel Radcliffe for “Every Brilliant Thing” and recognition for outstanding play revivals such as “Every Brilliant Thing,” “Death of a Salesman,” and “Oedipus.”

The Tony Awards ceremony, scheduled for June 7 at Radio City Music Hall and hosted by Pink, will air live on CBS and stream on Paramount+. Last year’s broadcast, hosted by Cynthia Erivo, garnered the largest audience in six years.
