Notably, Bad Bunny claimed the title of Spotify’s most played artist in 2025, overthrowing Swift, who had held the position for the previous two years. The dynamic between the two artists has seen them exchange the top spot over recent years, with Swift reigning from 2020 to 2023.
In the overall rankings, Drake secures the third position as Spotify’s most streamed artist, with The Weeknd, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber, Billie Eilish, Eminem, Kanye West, Travis Scott, BTS, Post Malone, Bruno Mars, J Balvin, Rihanna, Coldplay, Kendrick Lamar, Future, and Juice WRLD following suit in consecutive order.

Among the notable mentions on Spotify’s all-time most streamed albums list are Bad Bunny’s “Un Verano Sin Ti,” The Weeknd’s “Starboy,” Ed Sheeran’s “÷ (Deluxe),” Olivia Rodrigo’s “SOUR,” and SZA’s “SOS.” Similarly, the list of most streamed songs features hits like The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights,” Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You,” and The Neighbourhood’s “Sweater Weather,” among others.
