“Masked Suspect Detained in Nancy Guthrie Disappearance”

A person was taken into custody for questioning on Tuesday in connection with the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie after the FBI released surveillance footage of a masked individual with a gun holster outside Guthrie’s residence on the night she went missing from her Arizona home. The individual was detained during a traffic stop south of Tucson by officers from the Pima County Sheriff’s Department. Details about the detained person and the specific location were not immediately disclosed.

Authorities have not officially confirmed the release of the individual who was questioned after some news outlets reported that a man claimed to have been questioned and later released. A delivery man from Rio Rico, who stated he was innocent and was eventually released by the police after being detained, was interviewed by a Phoenix television station.

The FBI director, Kash Patel, mentioned that the masked person seen in the videos appeared to have tampered with the doorbell camera at Nancy Guthrie’s home, potentially indicating foul play. The investigation into Guthrie’s disappearance, presumed to be an abduction, has been ongoing since she was last seen on January 31 outside Tucson.

Family members of Guthrie, including her daughter Savannah Guthrie, have been actively seeking public assistance in locating Nancy, emphasizing her need for daily medication due to health issues. The family has posted various videos appealing for information and offering rewards for her safe return.

As the investigation continues, local and federal authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward to help bring Nancy Guthrie back home safely. The FBI has initiated digital billboard campaigns in multiple states to raise awareness and gather potential leads in the case.
