“Justin Bieber Makes History with 5th Best Male Pop Artist Win”

Justin Bieber achieved a milestone at the American Music Awards by clinching the title of best male pop artist for the fifth time, setting a new record. The Canadian singer-songwriter from Stratford, Ontario, previously held the record with four wins in the same category, initially winning in 2010 when the award was known as favorite pop/rock male artist.

Arriving at this year’s event in Las Vegas, Bieber was nominated for four awards, including artist of the year and album of the year for his album “Swag” released last year. With this latest victory, Bieber’s tally of American Music Awards stands at 19, placing him on par with the late Kenny Rogers for the second-most wins by a male artist. Michael Jackson continues to lead the pack among male artists with 24 awards to his name.

Recently, the singer of hits like “Peaches” made a triumphant return to the stage by headlining Coachella, his first major performance since canceling a tour in 2022 due to health issues related to Ramsay Hunt syndrome. Notable winners from the event included BTS, who secured the artist of the year award, and Sabrina Carpenter, who emerged victorious in the album of the year category.
