The popular line from the TV show “Heated Rivalry,” where a character says, “I’m coming to the cottage,” is soon to be a real-life travel option for fans. The lakefront residence featured in the season finale of Crave’s hockey romance series, known as “The Cottage,” will open its doors for Airbnb guests. The Barlochan cottage, a three-bedroom retreat located in Muskoka Lakes, Ontario, has garnered significant attention from fans following its appearance in the show.
The characters Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov spend a transformative summer at the cottage, turning it into a pivotal location for their relationship. With its floor-to-ceiling windows and stunning lake views, the cottage is described as a place of intense emotions, honest conversations, and memorable experiences.
Starting March 3 at noon ET, guests can reserve weekend stays at the cottage until May for $248.10 CAD per night, a tribute to the jersey numbers of Hollander and Rozanov. Bookings for the summer season, starting on June 1, will have pricing details released at a later date.
The property’s owner, who wishes to remain anonymous, collaborated with Airbnb to make the listing possible. In celebration of the cottage’s debut on Airbnb, the company will be making a contribution to the Children’s Foundation of Muskoka, supporting children from disadvantaged backgrounds in the region. The exact donation amount has not been disclosed.
