Renowned artist Banksy has seemingly confirmed the creation of a new mural in London featuring two children lying down and pointing skyward. The artwork, in black and white, portrays the figures in winter attire, with one person pointing upwards. Banksy shared images of the mural on his official Instagram account following its appearance on a wall in Bayswater, west London, generating speculation about the artist’s involvement.
Another identical image was discovered at the base of a tower in central London; however, Banksy did not share this version on his Instagram. Banksy, known for his provocative and politically charged works, has established himself as a prominent figure in the art world, with his pieces fetching high prices at auctions despite facing challenges from thieves and vandals.
While Banksy’s art often critiques government policies, the latest mural appears devoid of explicit political commentary. In a previous work from September, Banksy depicted a judge wielding a gavel over an unarmed protester, which was swiftly covered up due to the historical significance of the location. Banksy’s artistic journey began with graffiti in Bristol, England, and has since captivated audiences worldwide with his thought-provoking creations.
